St Margaret’s, Putney prioritises music in our parish life. We have weekly recitals on Sunday afternoons, are used regularly for recordings, rehearsals and concerts and have several choirs and a ballet and music school who consider us home. We have a bespoke Lammermuir organ (1993) and an Yamaha C7 grand piano (1991), in excellent condition.

The church’s music is run by a director of music, with professional section leaders, a volunteer robed choir, and choristers. We are currently seeking an organist to complete this team.

The requirement is to play at Sunday services and festivals, and a weekly midweek evening rehearsal. St Margaret’s is a member of Inclusive Church and is committed to a diverse range of music performed at the highest level. Remuneration is set at £4500 + fees for occasional services.

St Margaret’s Church, Putney Park Lane is seeking a part-time Facilities Assistant to work principally at weekends.

The position involves greeting and assisting clients hiring our facilities, setting up for events and services and carrying out practical duties during services.

Candidates should be at ease in a Christian environment. Remuneration is £15 per hour with a guaranteed 10 hours a week and the possibility of additional work at other times.
