A Sunday afternoon and the sounds of a string quartet – come and enjoy both with the Halcyon Quartet. Showcasing two quartets from the Mendelssohn family, the Halcyons will perform Felix’s String Quartet No. 1 Op. 12 alongside his sister Fanny’s String Quartet in E flat Major.

Described as “future stars of British Chamber Music” (Eaton Square Concerts), the Halcyons formed in 2012 at the Royal Academy of Music and performances have taken them to Conway Hall, Royal Opera House and St John’s Smith Square as well as to international festivals such as West Cork Chamber Music Festival and Bermuda Festival.
