This programme is one of stylistic inspiration/variation — Bach taking inspiration from Couperin and his contemporaries, Rach doing the same in a very different way with Corelli.

Peter Foggitt is a pianist, conductor, and composer, currently on the music staff of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, Munich.

This programme explores composers' sources of inspiration, from Bach's reflection of the ornate French style of his time to the Russian Rachmaninoff's virtuosic variations (written in Switzerland) on a Spanish tune made famous by an Italian violinist.

 Join us from 3.30pm for a drink before the concert at 4pm.
